Tee Splitting & Straightening
Beams have a natural tendency to bow and twist when split. Using a rotary-mechanical shear, we can eliminate the traditional thermal cutting of the beam, resulting in tees that are straighter with less internal stress and straighter tees. We combine this with our roll-straightening service, performed after splitting, which creates the highest-quality and straightest tees available.
- Beam must be 6” minimum depth in order to split
- Beam must be 27” maximum depth to rotary split into a tee
- 60’ is the maximum length that can be split
- 12” flange size is the largest tee we can straighten
